Description:
As part of their regular, on-going maintenance
program, the client had two large penthouses reroofed with
a fully adhered 60 mil EPDM membrane system over tapered
rigid insulation glued to light-weight cementitious
decking. This roofing system met the owner's
requirements of a tight budget while conforming to both a
limited weight factor and extreme time constraints.
Since the penthouses were
completed, the owner has had additional sections of the
facility reroofed using the same materials.
Eventually, the entire building will have to be completely
reroofed.

- Adhesively attached
tapered polyisocyanurate insulation
- Additional roof drainage
