Description:
Our client wanted to develop a bistro style
restaurant in the heart of the Yale University campus in
downtown New Haven. Design considerations were
prescribed by both the client's needs and the university's
concerns for the character of the campus environment.
Working closely with both the
client and the university, a clean and simple design was
developed that satisfied the needs of both. The
fit-out was completed on a fast track schedule requiring
careful collaboration and constant communication between
all parties throughout the construction process.

complement the surrounding building facade
- Varied seating
opportunities using banquettes and tables
- Minimal circulation area
to maximize revenue producing space
- An upscale bar area
- Contemporary and
adjustable lighting
- Landscaping and future
outdoor café area
