Gabriel's Restaurant
Orange,
Connecticut Renovations / Interiors
Description:
Gabriel's Restaurant, lobby area.
Upon learning that the building which housed their restaurant for many
years was being condemned due to structural deficiencies, the owners set out to
find a new location for their facility. They began working immediately with
Martin A. Benassi, AIA - Architect to prepare schematic design plans and start
construction of a new restaurant. The restaurant has a front pizza and waiting
area separated from the dining room by a wall of glass and columns in-filled
with a painted wood wainscot. Behind this is a semi-private dining area with
tables and booths. Cool pastel peach and gray with accents of dark blue and
rose create a soft, elegant contemporary atmosphere. Special features include:
main dining area for 117 people; semi-private dining area for 20 people; front
area for pizza; service bar and waiting area; re-use of existing fixtures and
kitchen equipment. Total floor area: 3,000 square feet. |
