Ms. Petersen has over 24 years experience as an Architect and as an Interior Designer, having worked at firms in Connecticut, Louisiana, and Michigan.  She has worked in both capacities on many large-scale commercial, public and institutional projects, including:

    ●   Professional & Corporate Offices

    ●   Retail Facilities
    ●   Restaurants
    ●   Police & Fire Stations

As a Project Architect, Ms. Petersen has been an integral member of investigation and design teams which were organized to evaluate and establish the condition of exterior building systems, as well as to develop alternative design solutions to address subsequent rehabilitation needs.

Ms. Petersen also has specialized knowledge in the following areas:

    ●   Identification & resolution of water infiltration problems
    ●   Investigation of construction failures
    ●   Determining other causes of building deterioration

Ms. Petersen has extensive CADD and word processing experience.   She works closely with clients to determine their needs, while at the same time thoughtfully providing them with her professional opinions and advice on projects. 

In addition, Ms. Petersen has practical experience as an independent consultant.  Her services have been retained by numerous architectural firms throughout Connecticut.
